Never forget. [rant]

Always remember that on this day not that long ago families were torn apart.

Newlyweds, new parents, people who had a family and had an identity had it carelessly taken away by a few people who thought of themselves as religious warriors.

This does not go to say that nothing was done to prevent this terrible tragedy. Our government, those who are put in place to govern and sanction this great country did nothing to stop this. All signs point towards the fact that our "mighty government" turned their arrogant heads and pretended to not know of the impending events.

From this tragedy sparked a witch hunt through all of the middle east that all funnels down to one thing. OIL.

This war of attrition needs to stop. In all honesty I DO NOT SUPPORT THIS WAR! I do however support our TROOPS. I urge you to do the same.

Remember those lost in the towers, and those lost in battle. Support the familes that have suffered due to the carelessness of many people from the higherups to the way down lows.



Random Afterthought:

In the war in the middle east not even ten thousand U.S. soldiers have died in the 7 years following 9/11.
A soldier dies and it makes national news now. What about world wars I and II and vietnam and korea?

The total number of allied casualties was 10,264. United States- 1,465 dead, 5,138 missing, wounded, or captured. United Kingdom- 2,700 dead, wounded, or captured. Canada, 500 dead, 621 wounded or captured.

Yes, in the course of one day over TEN THOUSAND soldiers died.
That was history. This is a joke. One person dies and it's the news of the day.
